As part of the company’s service improvement program for Rizal customers, Manila Water is set to finish the construction of the P45-million Darangan Pipe Bridge project in Binangonan, Rizal, this May. This 800-mm steel pipe bridge system spanning 26 linear meters along Manila East Service Road will improve water access to over 20,000 households in Angono, Binangonan, Cainta, Taytay, and some areas in Pasig City once operational.  

As the country braves through soaring heat indices, Manila Water and its contractors roll out measures to protect its workers and employees in the East Zone of Metro Manila and Rizal Province from heat-related illnesses.

Manila Water Philippine Ventures (MWPV), a subsidiary of Manila Water catering to major cities and provinces outside of Metro Manila, has recently celebrated its 9th year anniversary. Recognizing the increasing demand for sustainable water and wastewater solutions for the domestic market, MWPV was established in 2015 to bring Manila Water’s brand of service to other service areas in the Philippines in need of reliable water and sanitation services.

Manila Water is rolling out its desludging caravan to 52 East Zone barangays in Metro Manila and Rizal for septic tank siphoning in May. 

Manila Water continues to pass the stringent requirements of the Department of Health’s (DOH) Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water (PNSDW) assuring its 7.6 million customers in the East Zone safe and potable water up to their meters.
