The Manila Water Representative Office in Vietnam (MWC-VRO) has moved to a new location at the second level of 18 Dien Bien Phu, District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City.

MWC-VRO celebrated the transfer with a recently held office blessing officiated by Fr. Joseph Lam of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit. The event was attended by President and CEO Ferdinand Dela Cruz, Chief Finance Officer and Treasurer Luis Juan Oreta, MWAP and MWPV President and CEO Virgilio Rivera, Jr., and managers.

MWC-VRO also shares the workspace with Asia Water Network Solutions (AWNS), one of the subsidiaries of MWAP in Vietnam. MWC-VRO and AWNS share the first-floor reception area and conference room, while the third and fourth levels of the building house AWNS management and staff. The design of the new office was made to be more conducive to work and productivity, as well as aesthetically pleasing for visiting guests and stakeholders.

To date, Manila Water Asia Pacific has a total of five subsidiaries in Vietnam’s water space. These include two bulk water supply companies—the 300-MLD Thu Duc Water BOO and the 200-MLD Kenh Dong Water Supply JSC—plus Saigon Water Infrastructure Corporation, Asia Water Network Solutions, and Cu Chi Water. MWAP targets to further expand its reach across Vietnam’s water and used water market over the next couple of years.
